Surface repairs
Surface repairs that work for you
At Ambience Restored we specialise in on‑site surface repairs that save you time, money and waste compared with full replacement. Instead of ripping out tiles, benchtops, floors or joinery, we fix the damage where it sits, matching colours and restoring presentation without the mess and downtime.

Where we repair surfaces
Kitchen & bathroom surfaces
We repair chips, cracks and impact damage in:
• Stone and engineered stone benchtops
• Laminate and solid‑surface benchtops
• Wall and floor tiles around kitchens and bathrooms
• Basins, baths and other sanitary fixtures with surface chips
These repairs are ideal for builders doing pre‑handover fixes, insurers handling damage claims and homeowners who want to keep their existing finishes.
Flooring repairs
We restore:
• Scratches, dents and gouges in timber and engineered timber floors
• Damage in vinyl and hybrid floors
• Localised board or panel damage that would otherwise require full replacement
We repair the trouble spots, not your entire floor, so you can keep using the space quickly after the work is done.
Cabinetry, joinery & doors
Doors, cabinets and frames often get knocked during builds, renovations or moves. We repair:
• Chipped edges and corners on kitchen and bathroom doors and panels
• Damage to wardrobes, cupboards and shelving
• Impact marks on internal doors, frames and skirting
The repairs help your joinery present as new for handover, inspection or sale.
Select furniture & timber pieces
For some clients, surface repairs extend into furniture and larger timber pieces such as:
• Dining tables, coffee tables and benches
• Timber benchtops, desktops and shelves
• Bifold and hinged timber doors
We’ll let you know if a repair is possible and how close the finish can be matched before we start.
Why choose surface repairs?
Save money
Full replacement of tiles, benchtops or flooring often means multiple trades, extra labour, and higher material costs. A targeted repair can cut this cost significantly while keeping the same quality finish in place.
Avoid downtime
Tearing out and reinstalling surfaces means dust, noise and unavailable areas for days. With on‑site surface repairs, we work quickly and cleanly, so kitchens, bathrooms and floors can be back in use in a short time.
Reduce waste
Every replacement slab, tile or floorboard that stays in service is one less item going to landfill. We believe in keeping quality surfaces in use for as long as possible.
Keep the look you love
Instead of changing your benchtop, tile layout or floor style, we help you keep the original look by repairing only the damaged areas and blending them invisibly back into the rest.
How a surface repair works
1. Send photos
Take clear photos of the damaged area and the surrounding surface, plus a wide shot of the room. Send through your location and a brief description.
2. Get a quote
We’ll review the photos, advise what can be repaired, and send you a clear quote and approximate time on site.
3. On‑site repair
We arrive on time, prepare the surface, carry out the repair, and keep the work area as tidy as possible with minimal disruption.
4. Back to use
Once the repair has cured, the surface can be used again or presented for handover or inspection.
